Roomies Favorite Beaches

Santa Cruz beaches are renowned for their stunning beauty, attracting visitors worldwide with their golden sands, iconic boardwalk, and pristine Pacific Ocean views. Nestled along the Central Coast of California, Santa Cruz boasts a diverse array of beaches, each with its unique charm and character. With summer approaching, we asked our agents what their go-to beaches are in the Santa Cruz Area.

Agent Dylan Linde of Eubank Property Group states Natural Bridges is his favorite beach. Natural Bridges State Beach is a must-visit destination. Named for its natural rock arch formations, this beach is known for its tide pools, where visitors can observe abundant marine life, including sea stars, anemones, and hermit crabs. It's also a popular spot for birdwatching, with migratory birds flock to the area yearly.

Just a short drive north of Santa Cruz, you'll find Davenport Beach. This hidden gem is cherished by locals and visitors alike. This rugged and secluded beach offers a pristine natural setting with dramatic cliffs, rocky outcrops, and expansive ocean views. Bailey Cotrona of Sol Properties states Davenport Beach is her favorite spot. Unlike some of the more popular beaches in the area, Davenport retains a peaceful and unspoiled atmosphere, making it the perfect destination for those seeking solitude and connection with nature.

Davenport Beach is also referred to as Davenport Cove or Shark Fin Cove. One of the most enchanting aspects of Shark Fin Cove is its unique rock formations and sea stacks, which have been sculpted by wind and waves over millions of years. These geological features provide endless opportunities for exploration, photography, and quiet contemplation. Shark Fin Cove is a top pick for Katerina Franco of Mario Desantis & Associates.

Agent Sherri Barcus of the Madani Team states Asilomar Beach is her favorite. Alisomar Beach is located on the Monterey Peninsula in Pacific Grove. This beach is a paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The beach and surrounding dunes provide habitat for a wide variety of plant and animal species, including seabirds, shorebirds, and native coastal plants. One of the highlights of Asilomar Beach is its vibrant tide pools, which are exposed during low tide.

Whether you're into sunbathing, surfing, observing marine life, or simply taking a leisurely stroll along the shore, you're sure to find the perfect spot to relax and have a great time at any of these spectacular beaches in the Santa Cruz area.
